Fruit Chafer Beetle
Euphoria sepulcralis
Adult fruit chafer beetles visit flowers, ripe fruit, and sap flows in open woodland, gardens, and field edges. They fly between feeding sites and use their mouthparts to consume pollen, nectar, and soft fruit. Their tough wing covers protect the folded flight wings beneath them when they are walking or feeding.
