Cellar Spider
Crossopriza maculipes

Cellar spiders commonly inhabit sheltered indoor spaces, caves, sheds, and building corners, where they hang upside down in loose, irregular webs. They hunt small insects and other spiders that become entangled in the web, rapidly wrapping and biting prey. When disturbed, they can vibrate their bodies and webs so quickly that they become a blur, making them harder to target. Their venom subdues tiny prey but is not considered dangerous to people.
