Garden Cosmet
Mompha subbistrigella
The adult Garden Cosmet is a small moth found around gardens, hedgerows, and herbaceous vegetation where its larval food plants grow. It rests discreetly among stems by day and flies in search of mates and suitable egg-laying sites. Its narrow, subtly patterned wings help break up its outline against dry plant material.
