Bronze Featherback
Notopterus notopterus
Adult Bronze Featherbacks inhabit slow-moving rivers, lakes, marsh channels, and flooded forest waters across South and Southeast Asia. Mostly active at night, they stalk small fish, aquatic insects, and crustaceans around vegetation and woody cover. The species can swim forward or backward by rippling its exceptionally long anal fin.
