Richard's Pipit
Anthus richardi

Richard's Pipits inhabit open grasslands, farmland, marsh edges, and sandy plains, usually keeping to the ground between short flights. They run through vegetation while feeding on insects, spiders, and small seeds. A notable feature is their long hind claw and especially long tail, which give the bird a lanky appearance.
