Obtuse Euchlaena Moth
Euchlaena obtusaria
Adults inhabit deciduous woods, scrubby edges, and gardens where their caterpillar host plants grow. They fly mainly at night and visit flowers for nectar, while resting motionlessly on bark or foliage by day. The mottled gray-brown wings provide excellent camouflage against lichen-covered branches.
