Almond Moth
Cadra cautella
Adult almond moths occur around stored dry foods in homes, mills, warehouses, and other warm buildings. They are most active at night, flying to locate mates and suitable places to lay eggs near food for their larvae. Adults do not cause the feeding damage themselves; their offspring are the stage that infest stored products.
