Siberian Chipmunk
Tamias sibiricus

Siberian chipmunks inhabit woodland edges, shrublands, and forest clearings, using burrows for shelter and winter storage. They forage actively for seeds, nuts, berries, fungi, and insects, carrying food in expandable cheek pouches. A distinctive feature is the five dark stripes running along the back and sides.
