Golden-handed Tamarin
Saguinus midas
Golden-handed tamarins inhabit lowland tropical forest, moving quickly through branches and dense vine tangles. They forage for fruit, flowers, nectar, insects, spiders, and small vertebrates. Their striking golden-orange hands and feet contrast with their dark fur, and sharp claws help them cling to trunks and probe crevices for food.
