Western Needle-clawed Bushbaby
Euoticus elegantulus
The western needle-clawed bushbaby inhabits humid tropical forests in west-central Africa, moving through the understory after dark. It clings to trunks and makes quick, precise leaps among branches while searching for insects, tree gums, and other plant foods. Its unusually elongated claws help it grip bark and probe into crevices for food.
