Horsfield's Treeshrew
Tupaia javanica
Horsfield's Treeshrews live in lowland forests, scrub, plantations, and gardens across parts of Southeast Asia. Quick and restless, they race along branches and the ground while searching for insects, fruit, and nectar. Despite the name, a treeshrew is neither a true shrew nor a squirrel.
