Ornate Flying Snake
Chrysopelea ornata
The ornate flying snake is a diurnal, tree-dwelling snake of tropical forests, plantations, and wooded gardens in South and Southeast Asia. It stalks lizards, frogs, small birds, and rodents along branches. By spreading its ribs to flatten its body, it can glide remarkably far from tree to tree.
