Green Tree Snake
Dendrelaphis punctulatus
Green Tree Snakes live in forests, woodland, gardens, and waterways where dense vegetation provides cover and climbing routes. They are agile daytime hunters that pursue frogs, lizards, small birds, and eggs among branches and shrubs. Their long, narrow bodies can flatten slightly to help them move through foliage and make controlled descents from elevated perches.
