Flat Bladetooth
Patera appressa

Adults inhabit moist forest-floor refuges, especially under rocks, fallen wood, and deep leaf litter. They feed mainly on fungi, algae, and decomposing vegetation, emerging most readily in humid conditions. Its flattened, tooth-edged shell helps distinguish it from other small land snails and offers protection when it retracts.
