Parasitoid wasp
Tamarixia radiata
Adult Tamarixia radiata is a minute wasp found around citrus trees where Asian citrus psyllids are present. Females search young shoots for psyllid nymphs, laying an egg beneath a suitable host and sometimes feeding from host fluids. Adults also take nectar or honeydew, and their parasitism makes them an important natural control of the citrus greening disease vector.
