Pandorus Sphinx Caterpillar
Eumorpha pandorus (larva)
This large caterpillar feeds on the leaves of grapevines, Virginia creeper, and related plants in woodland edges and gardens. It spends much of its time slowly crawling among foliage and chewing broad leaves. Its green body and diagonal pale markings help it blend into the vegetation.
