Cuba Snail
Eupera cubensis

The adult Cuba Snail is a minute freshwater bivalve that lives among fine sediment, plant debris, and submerged vegetation. It uses its muscular foot to settle into soft substrate and filter tiny food particles from the water. Despite its common name, it is a clam-like mollusc with two shell valves rather than a true snail.
