Grotto Salamander
Eurycea spelaea

Adults inhabit moist caves, spring runs, and shaded rocky forest habitat near water. They forage at night for insects, spiders, and other small invertebrates, often remaining hidden beneath rocks or leaf litter by day. Like other lungless salamanders, they breathe through their skin and the lining of their mouth.
