Panamanian Golden Frog
Atelopus zeteki
The adult inhabits clear, rocky streams and surrounding humid forest in Panama's highlands. It hunts ants, mites, beetles, and other small invertebrates on the ground and among streamside vegetation. Its vivid golden color advertises potent skin toxins, making it one of the world's most recognizable poison frogs.
