Inlaid Grass-veneer
Crambus pascuella

Adult Inlaid Grass-veneers inhabit grassy fields, meadows, and other open places where their larval food plants grow. They rest with their narrow forewings wrapped tightly around the body, resembling a pale blade of grass. Adults fly mainly at dusk and night and may visit flowers for nectar. The long, forward-projecting mouthparts give this small moth its characteristic snout-like profile.
