White-winged March Fly
Bibio albipennis
Adult white-winged march flies inhabit woodland edges, grassy clearings, and other moist vegetated places. They fly low among plants and may visit flowers for nectar. The adults are short-lived, with much of their time devoted to finding mates and laying eggs in suitable soil.
