Blood Red Fire Shrimp
Lysmata debelius

This vividly red shrimp lives among coral reefs, usually sheltering in crevices and overhangs during the day. It emerges to scavenge food and may remove parasites and debris from visiting fish. Its bright white markings make it conspicuous despite its preference for shaded reef hideouts.
