Australian Rhinoceros Beetle
Xylotrupes australicus

Adults inhabit forests, woodland edges, and gardens where decaying timber and sap sources are available. They feed on tree sap, fruit, and other sugary plant fluids, and are often active at night. Males use their prominent horns to push and lift rival males away from breeding sites.
