Brown Christmas Beetle
Anoplognathus olivieri
Adult Brown Christmas Beetles emerge in the warmer months and are active around Australian woodland and suburban vegetation. They fly between trees and feed on foliage, especially the leaves of native trees. Like other Christmas beetles, adults are often noticed around the summer holiday period, giving the group its common name.
