Gray-breasted Martin
Progne chalybea

Gray-breasted Martins live around open habitats, waterways, forest edges, towns, and nesting cavities across much of South America. They are agile aerial hunters, spending long periods on the wing while pursuing flying insects. Their diet is dominated by insects caught in flight, though they may occasionally take other small invertebrates. A notable feature is their deeply forked tail, which aids rapid turns during aerial foraging.
