Cepaea eversa
Cepaea eversa

Cepaea eversa is a terrestrial snail associated with moist vegetation, leaf litter, and sheltered ground in temperate habitats. It grazes algae, fungi, decaying plant matter, and soft living vegetation with its rasping radula. During dry or threatening conditions, it withdraws deeply into its coiled shell, which is its most important defense.
