Equus conversidens Foal
Equus conversidens (foal)
This foal stays close to its mother in open grasslands and lightly wooded valleys. It nurses frequently while beginning to nibble grasses and other soft plants. Quick bursts of running help it escape danger, and its long legs are already useful soon after birth.
