Yellow-breasted Bunting Fledgling
Emberiza aureola (fledgling)

A fledgling has left the nest but still stays close to dense reeds, tall grasses, and shrubs while its flight feathers finish growing. It makes short fluttering hops, hides low in vegetation, and continues to beg from nearby adults. It begins pecking at small seeds and insects, practicing the foraging skills it will need during migration. Its streaky juvenile plumage helps it blend into dry grass and reed stems.
