Pink Winged Stick Insect
Sipyloidea chlorotica
Adults inhabit tropical foliage, where their long bodies disappear among stems and leaves. They are nocturnal leaf-eaters and remain still by day, using camouflage to avoid detection. When disturbed, the adult can reveal its pink wings and make a short fluttering flight to escape.
