Pajama Cardinalfish
Sphaeramia nematoptera

Pajama cardinalfish inhabit calm tropical lagoons and coral reefs, often sheltering among branching corals or sea urchin spines by day. They emerge to hunt small crustaceans and zooplankton, especially in dim light. Males notably carry developing eggs in their mouths until the young hatch.
