Bird Cherry Ermine Moth
Yponomeuta evonymella

The adult is a small white moth with neat black spots, usually found near bird cherry, hedgerows, and woodland margins. It flies at night and rests by day on leaves, bark, or stems where its pale pattern helps break up its outline. Adults take little or no food compared with the larval stage and focus on mating and laying eggs. Its narrow wings and dotted ermine pattern are notable traits shared with several close relatives.
