American Crow
Corvus brachyrhynchos

The adult American Crow is a widespread, adaptable bird found in forests, farms, suburbs, cities, shorelines, and open fields across much of North America. It is an omnivore, feeding on insects, grains, fruit, eggs, small animals, carrion, and refuse. Adults fly strongly, walk confidently on the ground, cache food, mob predators, and use loud calls to signal danger or contact. A notable fact is that American Crows are highly intelligent corvids capable of problem solving and remembering individual threats.
