Coleman's Aphid parasitoid
Aphidius colemani

The adult is a minute, dark parasitoid wasp found around aphid colonies on greenhouse and garden plants. It feeds on nectar, honeydew, and other sugary fluids, while females search for aphids to parasitize. A female rapidly bends her abdomen and pierces an aphid with her ovipositor to place an egg inside. This species is widely used in biological control because one small wasp can help suppress many pest aphids over its lifetime.
