Common Tree Frog
Polypedates leucomystax
The adult is an adaptable arboreal frog found in forests, gardens, farms, and villages across much of Southeast Asia. It is mostly nocturnal, climbing with enlarged toe pads and feeding on insects and other small invertebrates. Adults avoid predators with sudden leaps, camouflage, and hiding among leaves or human structures. Males are known for loud breeding calls, and females lay eggs in foam nests positioned above water.
