Common Clothes Moth Larva
Tineola bisselliella (larva)

The larva lives in dark, undisturbed places such as wardrobes, carpets, upholstery, stored wool, and old bird or mammal nests. It feeds on keratin-rich animal fibers including wool, fur, feathers, and hair, often grazing hidden surfaces rather than exposed cloth. It spins silken feeding tunnels mixed with fibers and frass, which help conceal it while it eats. This is the damaging life stage; the adult moth is mostly a sign that larvae may be nearby.
