Yellow Sac Spider
Cheiracanthium mildei

Yellow sac spiders are small, pale yellow to beige spiders often found in gardens, shrubs, leaf litter, and inside buildings. They are active nocturnal hunters, roaming instead of using a capture web, and feed on small insects and other tiny arthropods. During the day they hide in silken sacs tucked into corners, folded leaves, or crevices. Their venom helps subdue prey, and bites to humans are usually painful but rarely medically serious.
