14-spotted Ladybird Beetle
Propylea quatuordecimpunctata

The adult is a small yellow ladybird found in gardens, meadows, field margins, and woodland edges. It flies between plants in search of aphids, psyllids, and other soft-bodied prey. Its fourteen dark spots are highly variable and may merge into larger markings. Like many ladybirds, it can release bitter defensive chemicals when handled.
