Stick Insect
Pseudophasmatidae

Adult members of Pseudophasmatidae are tropical and subtropical walkingsticks found on shrubs, trees, and forest-edge plants. They are herbivores, chewing leaves at night and resting motionless by day with a body shape that mimics twigs or bark. Many species use warning colors or irritating defensive secretions when camouflage fails. Adults may have wings, but flight is usually secondary to hiding and startle displays.
