Asparagus Aphid
Brachycorynella asparagi

The young asparagus aphid is a tiny, soft-bodied nymph found on asparagus shoots, cladodes, and new growth. It feeds by inserting a slender stylet into plant tissue and drinking sap, often remaining nearly motionless to blend with the green stems. Nymphs molt several times before adulthood and can mature quickly in warm conditions, helping populations build rapidly on host plants.
