Arabian tibia
Tibia insulaechorab

The Arabian tibia is a marine snail of sandy and muddy bottoms in the western Indian Ocean, including the Red Sea and Arabian region. It creeps slowly over the seabed, using its long siphonal canal to sample the water while the heavy, spired shell protects the soft body. Its diet is thought to include fine organic material and small food particles gathered from the substrate. The shell’s elegant, elongated form makes it a familiar specimen in shell collections.
