Narwhal
Monodon monoceros

Narwhals live in Arctic seas, especially around pack ice and deep fjords. They dive for fish, squid, and shrimp, using echolocation clicks to navigate and hunt in dark water beneath the ice. Males are famous for the long spiral tusk, an enlarged tooth used in display and contact with rivals. They surface through breathing holes and can make exceptionally deep dives for a whale of their size.
