European Yellow Sac Spider
Cheiracanthium punctorium

A pale yellow hunting spider of warm grasslands, field margins, and dry meadows across parts of Europe. It does not build a capture web, instead prowling vegetation at night and resting by day inside a silken sac. Its diet is mainly small insects and other arthropods seized with a quick bite. Females are known for guarding their egg sacs fiercely, and bites to humans can be painful though usually not dangerous.
