Mantled Guereza Infant
Colobus guereza (infant)
This infant lives high in African forest canopies, spending most of its time clinging to its mother while she moves through the trees. It nurses at first and gradually begins mouthing tender leaves and other soft plant foods. A notable early-life trait is its pale white coat, which darkens into the black-and-white pattern of older stages.
