Crab Spider
Hedana gracilis

The adult broad-faced sac spider is a nocturnal hunter found among leaf litter, loose bark, foliage, and sheltered corners. By day it rests in a silken sac, then emerges at night to stalk insects and other small arthropods. It subdues prey with a fast fang strike and venom rather than using a capture web. The broad front of the body and strong-looking jaws give the group its common name.
