Longhorn Beetle
Grammoptera ruficornis

The adult is a tiny longhorn beetle of woodland edges, hedgerows, and scrubby places, often found on spring and early-summer flowers. It feeds on pollen and nectar, using its long reddish antennae to explore flower heads and nearby vegetation. Unlike the hidden larva, the adult can fly between blossoms and may drop suddenly from plants when disturbed.
