Long-legged Sac Spider
Cheiramiona regis

The adult long-legged sac spider is a pale, slender hunter found among foliage, under bark, and around buildings, especially in warm sheltered places. It does not rely on a capture web; instead, it wanders at night and rushes small insects and other arthropods with venomous fangs. By day it commonly rests inside a thin silk sac tucked into leaves, corners, or crevices. Its long front legs and quick reflexes make it an effective active predator despite its small size.
