Sawtoothed Grain Beetle Larva
Oryzaephilus surinamensis (larva)

This pale, slender larva lives among stored grain, flour, cereal, and food debris in warm, dry places. It crawls through loose material and narrow cracks, feeding mostly on broken kernels and processed grain rather than boring into sound seeds. When disturbed, it can curl or wriggle away into cover. A notable feature is its tiny but effective chewing mouthparts, which let it make use of the fine food fragments adults also exploit.
