Long-headed Flour Beetle
Latheticus oryzae

The adult long-headed flour beetle lives in warm stored grain, flour, mills, and warehouse debris. It crawls through loose cereal products, feeding on broken grain, flour dust, and other starchy fragments. Its narrow, elongated head helps distinguish it from many other small stored-product beetles. Its tiny size lets it hide in cracks and packaging seams, making infestations difficult to notice early.
