Vitelline Warbler
Setophaga vitellina

The adult is a small Caribbean wood-warbler found in dry forest, scrub, thickets, and mangrove edges of the Cayman Islands and Swan Islands. It moves quickly through foliage, gleaning insects, larvae, and spiders from leaves and twigs, with occasional use of small fruit or nectar-like food sources. Adults fly readily between shrubs and trees and may give sharp alarm calls when disturbed. A notable feature is its bright yellow underparts, which give the species its vitelline, or egg-yolk-colored, name.
