Lechwe
Kobus leche

The adult Lechwe is a wetland antelope of floodplains, marshes, and seasonally flooded grasslands in south-central Africa. It grazes grasses and aquatic plants, often retreating into water when threatened. Long, splayed hooves help it move through soft mud and shallow water with surprising speed. Males carry curved, ridged horns and use head-to-head pushing contests during the breeding season.
